Ezekiel 36:24.                               ““‘For here’s what I’m going to do: I’m going to take you out of these countries, gather you from all over, and bring you back to your own land.”

When you talk to refugees or people in exile, despite the danger to themselves, they all want to go home.

Being a sinner is sort of like being in spiritual exile. You are separated from your true home; the presence of God. Thank God for the gift of redemption! God promised to redeem us, to bring us back from exile and wandering, embrace us into the fold once more. He redeemed that promise at the ultimate cost; His only begotten Son.

What a blessing to be the child of a faithful God! Now if only we could be as faithful.

Think About This

What’s the first thing you’ll do (you did) when God brings (brought) you home?

Dear Lord, I’m glad that there’s is always redemption for my wandering soul. Help me be faithful to You that I might not leave Your side again. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
