Obadiah 1:15.                   ““ GOD ’s Judgment Day is near for all the godless nations. As you have done, it will be done to you. What you did will boomerang back and hit your own head.””

Don’t for a second think you can do as you please. There are consequences for every action taken. People love to talk about Karma; the spiritual principle of cause and effect where the intent and actions of an individual (cause) directly influence the future of that individual (effect). Old proverbs warn along the lines of “If you throw a ball it bounces back to you”. The Bible is very clear in Galatians 6:7 “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” NIV

Consequences for everything. People are more concerned though about the immediate effects of their actions than the eternal. It’s the eternal effects though that impact the soul. “Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” Galatians 6:8 NIV

I would be more concerned with God than Karma.

Think About This

What am I doing? What impact would it have? Who is in the line of action?

Dear Lord, Keep me mindful of my actions and their consequences that I might live for Your glory alone. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
