Psalm 23:2 You have bedded me down in lush meadows, you find me quiet pools to drink from.

This was the life!  Soft comfy pillows, great back support in the mattress yet in perfect tune with the warmth of the duvet.  A cool breeze whispered through the room, tickling Tosin on the top of her head.  Grandma called up the stairs to let her know breakfast was ready.  The smell of sausages, bacon, eggs and warm muffins had already made the announcement.  Grandpa gathered Tosin into a huge bear hug as Grandma poured cornflakes into her bowl and set a large glass of orange juice.  Indeed this was the life!  To be loved and pampered in this special way was such a treat!  And that wasn’t even the best part; there were swings and slides outside!!!

The Bible tells us in Revelations 4:11 that God made us for his pleasure;

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

 He could have made anything.  In fact He did.  You see God made the earth and all the things in it for us.  He plan all along was to make us but He needed to prepare a place for us; somewhere we would be happy and productive.  When everything was perfect then God made man.  Ever since then He has pampered us to the hilt.  After all; that’s why He made us.  The great thing though is that what we get here on earth is nowhere near what lies in store for us in Heaven.  God wants to pamper you; enjoy it

 Think About This

Sometimes we miss the ways God pampers us because we’ve gotten used to it.  Can you spot some?

Dear Lord,

Thank You for all you do for me.  I love the way you make me feel special and think of me.  It’s an honour to be your child.  I love you.  Amen
